In recent years we have managed to establish a genuine restaurant, where Hospitality is written with a capital letter. The restaurant has kept and further developed its reputation among gourmets by offering freshwater and sea fish, chicken dishes, home made desserts and wines from the wine cellar in Ptuj. The latter has had a significant impact on the town’s culinary culture. The town has always emphasized plain family cooking as well as castle dishes, which were both at the highest level, since both contained recipes specific for the area of Ptuj and its surroundings. We can maintain that, Ptuj has stressed good and tasteful food at all times and culinary art has considerably influenced the area.
